BBQ Ride Needs 50-mile Leader (June 30)

We had such a great turnout last year for the long route that it would be nice to have a leader on that ride that has gotten familiar with the route ahead of time.  Any volunteers?  I've created a new route that should be just as scenic but perhaps a little easier to follow.  You can preview the route on ridewithgps.com.  It's called BBQ long route and it's labeled as being in Chapmansboro, TN.

Hey Christy, I would be happy to help out with the long ride.

Great! I can go the distance but all I could do is sweep (very slowly). Plus, they probably need me on the short route. Thanks much and if you need me to print cue sheets let me know. What time do you want to start? I'll probably suggest starting the shorter route about half an hour after your group.

8 AM is fine with me, but if you prefer earlier i can do 7:30. I'll prepare cue sheets for the 50.

8:00 is fine. With the commute it would be hard for some of the folks to get across town in time if we start earlier. When I post early next week, I'll note the 8:00 and 8:30 start times.

Hey Miley... I'll be more than happy to help lead the secondary long group if that helps. I remember the ride from last year for the most part. See you there! ~Mike Kaiser

Mike - Note that the long route has changed. It should actually be a little simpler to follow; but if we have a big crowd again, the more eyes on the route the better.
