Dec 15th Christmas Light Ride 5:30 PM

This is the 4th year for this event and it is a lot of fun.   We are going to do this as a simple charity ride for the Sumner County Juvenile Court Toys for Tots and Tweens program.    The FOGBEES are sponsoring 9 families this year for Christmas.  We ask that if you are going to ride that you bring a unwrapped toy to the ride or to Gary's office before Dec 12th.  These toys will then be given to the The Juvenile Court to be distributed to the families in need. You can donate even if you don't plan on doing the ride.

If you have any questions about what this event is or how to decorate please click the Christmas Light Link on the Blog Home page.

Ride Information
We will start at 5:00pm from the old Kmart parking lot in Hendersonville.  This is located behind La Loma Mexican Restaurant at 245 E. Main St in Hendersonville.  After the ride we will have refreshments at Rio Bravo http://www.riobravotn.com/Directions.html

Looks like everyone is covered, so I think I will take the last 5 kids on the list and buy little stocking stuffer gifts. (10doll. gifts) One for each of them. If the money is flowing like rain I'll buy for all of them, but as of now those 5 are all I can do.

Hi, Santa Janice, it would be best if you buy a gift for one child rather than stocking stuffers. Our goal for listing was to get a broad range of gifts with at least one gift for every child, but hopefully multiple gifts for the kids. So pick any of the nine children. Our list was to try to keep some balance, but definitely not limit the giving. Also, many gifts will be suitable for a broad range of ages and both genders.

Thank you for your thoughtfulness.
