Tammy and I just read and discussed this. She would have never thought to sue someone for an accident, and we all know that accidents can happen in cycling. Seems this lady is looking for a payday, and or someone to point the blame to. Also makes me wonder if I should have anyone that rides with me sign a waiver. CYA.
If I ever died in a paceline accident, I'd roll around like a dog in my grave if any of my family tried to sue my friends like it was somehow their fault that I chose to partake in a wildly fun but equally dangerous sport. Mercy golly geez.
