Here are instructions for decorating your wheel (on the left) with a string of
battery-powered LED Christmas lights (on the right). 

1) Take a foot of duck tape and lay the battery pack in the middle against the sticky side. The power switch should be against the tape.  You may want to cut a slot in the tape so you can slide the power switch from off to on and vice versa.

2) Place the battery pack against the wheel shaft and wrap the two ends of the tape around it as shown in the lower picture on the left.

3) Fasten each light to a spoke with duck tape as shown on the right.  As much as possible keep the bulbs  in the plane of the spokes so they don't hit the frame when the wheel rotates.

4) Gather up any lose wire and tape it to a spoke as shown above on the wheel.

If you don't have enough on the wheel shaft, you can tape the battery box flat against the spokes of the wheel.  The slide switch is on the inside where we can reach in and turn on.
