Kerry Roberts of Springfield, a CPA, owner of a consulting company and
several bicycle shops in Nashville, and a favorite of many FOGBEES won the Republican vote for the State Senate seat vacated by
Diane Black He won by wide margins in Robertson County and ran a strong third in Sumner. The 18th District seat covers all of Robertson and all but one precinct in Sumner. Unofficial results from the Tennessee Department of State showed Roberts with 2,331 votes, to Slater’s 1,709 and Bondurant’s 1,572.
