Yesterday, David Shumaker was seriously hurt in a bike accident. He is in Hendersonville hostpital and is expected to be released today. Dave lost consciousness for a short period of time and has suffered a broken rib. The accident was with another bicyclist. He will be recovering at home but is likely off the bicycle for the rest of 2017.

Spoke with David's wife Alicia this afternoon. Dave is pretty much sedated from pain medicine and will likely be in hospital another day for pain control. She and Dave appreciate all the good thoughts.
