The bike Nerds are at it again. This time discussing best selection of tire width's and tire pressure. I thought others would be interested in what they have to say.
Of course we know no REAL bicyclist rides on 23mm tires any more. Few ride even on 25mm. The preferred width is 28mm and larger. Learn more here

So what do the local experts say?
I pump them up to maybe 100 on the 25-28 mm tires and say 60 on my 38s. Then I ride for several days and just give them a squeeze to see if they feel okay.
According to Jan Heine, that may be too much pressure for even some of the most hefty FOGBEEs. Most of us larger FOGBEEs prefer 70 to 85 on 28's and if your frame (bike that is) can handle it, think seriously about 32's.
