Hi All. I'll be taking some vacation down to 30A & Santa Rosa area next week and bringing my bike. I just wanted to know if any of you have ridden down that way, have routes and any roads to stay away from. The following week I'll be working in the Orange Beach area. So if anyone has input on routes for that place I'll gladly listen. Thanks all.

The traffic on 30A had become atrocious. I still see people riding there but not like I used to. Even in the mornings before 7 construction trucks are bad. I got ran off the road by a tractor trailer with no oncoming traffic. After that I decided I wasn’t bringing my bike with me again. Just wasn’t worth it. Have a great trip!!
Jimmy, I have ridden that area for 15 years. It is best to get out at the break of dawn and plan to quit by 9AM due to humidity and traffic. I put together a couple of November trips for Bruce, Dave Shumaker, and I.
