Danny Denning

As many of you know, Danny Denning has been isolated to the ICU for COVID for several weeks.  He has been fighting with all his might to overcome the disease.  

Danny's wife Laura contacted us at 3:00pm Monday July 12 and reported that Danny's oxygen levels were very low and he was being moved to ICU. She has requsted we pray for Danny. If you haven't been in the loop, Danny tested positive for Covid last Thursday and went into the hospital on Sunday

LOOKS LIKE WE WILL BE ABLE TO HAVE THE RIDE FOR DANNY THIS SATURDAY.  THE PLANS ARE THE SAME INCLUDING DAVE MILEY'S ROUTES.  SEE YOU SATURDAY. 

Many of you have been asking, what you can do to support Danny and his family.  Danny's daughter, Jordan, approached Mark Holcomb about planning a ride where we could create a video for Danny to show our support for him in his battle.  We are planning a ride from The Farm, 923 TYREE SPRINGS RD., White House, TN on Saturday, 8/21/21.

A friend of Danny's daughter, Jordan, has a friend who is a professional video photographer.  He will be taking video of the ride before, during and after.  Several riders will have Go Pros for the ride. (if you have one that you could use as well during the ride, please let us know).  

Jordan will have coffee prior to the ride.   Some of Danny's other family members will be in attendance as well. 

Plan on arriving by 7:30AM to take part in the ride start activities. BRING A CHAIR!!!

Following the ride, you will have the opportunity to record a message for Danny.   The video photographer will produce a video for Danny from all the videos, photos, etc.  

Come join us for the ride and hang around afterwards at The Farm for a beer or two and the opportunity to record a message to Danny.   Mark Holcomb is bringing a couple of cases of beer and several of the FOGBEE wives are bringing snacks, pizza, wings, etc.

DANNY BACK HOME AT Friday Oct 1, 2021

After over 80 days in the hospital and rehab, Our friend Danny is coming home! His wife Laura has invited all FOGBEES who can, to come and line the driveway around 1:00 pm to welcome him home. I heard there will be cake, and if there are any time changes, we'll try to get the word out. His house is on the right just off XXX on Halltown road. The address is in Cottontown, TN

COMMENTS:

So many people were able to share their best wishes for Danny's soon recovering. Unfortunately, recovering from a stroke, I was unable on Danny's video to offer both to my wife Sharyn and to my best wishes. Although Sharyn retired 17 years ago as OB/GYN nurse at Hendersonville Hospital for 30 years, Danny was always Danny's favorite. For my two cardio-versions, Danny was always the last face when I closed my eyes and the first time I saw again. I hoping to see his bright face soon.
