The FOGBEE Lights concept has been a great success. Almost to the point where a new rider will have a hard time doing the distance or be intimidated by the traffic or the number or riders.
I would like to assess the interest in starting anew ride this fall. I picture it Sunday afternoon – say 2:00 PM. This time will allow us to continue into the winter months.
Route and start-stop point would be chosen to avoid as much traffic as possible. Distance would be 10 miles or so and would allow for multiple loops if individuals desire. Ride leader would pace the group to accommodate the slowest rider.
This could also be an opportunity to do a recovery ride for those who did a longee on Saturdays.

The Indian Lake Loop is the best route in Hendersonville for beginning cyclists and Ultra-Lite ride. This 11 miler has two moderate climbs for training and virtually no traffic. Portions of it are marked with "Share The Road" signs (thanks to Bruce Day).
Bob and Tom...I have added the Indian Lake Loop as the ride on Sunday as advised. I appreciate your input on this. I will be at Looys on Sunday at 7:30. Hope to see you guys there.
I'm in occasionally as long as the Broadway Brett Jets are not on local TV.
I'd love to do a Sunday short ride but my ice hockey games start this Sunday in Nashville and will go until next June, each Sunday. Hope it works out for you all.
I'm in for a loop or two if it's at the 2 pm time. There must be a significant financial incentive for me to get up before 9 am on Sunday.

Sounds good to us, except we would miss the rides when the Titans have a home game.

OK where are the football fans???
Tom, were you going to ride this Sunday or are you talking about later dates entirely ? I was intent upon a Sunday afternoon ride ( 1:30 to 2:00 pm start) to recover from the long shake ride Saturday. Jud , my son in law to be, is gonna be here so I thought I'd take him out for an easy spin.
Tom B: The Cages/Douglas Bend areas look to be an excellent short loop. I will work on a route and post it later to my MMR routes for people to copy if that is okay.

Tim,
I've done a Douglas Bend Route but apparently did not tranfer it to MMR. Here's teh URL to the pdf.
