Filing a Missing Fogbees Report

Fellow Fogbees, I need your help locating a few Fogbees who did not show for the Frozen Toes Ride earlier today in Bethpage. (We all know who they are from the posts below). I can only suspect foul play, because I'm sure a New Year's hangover or cold air would not keep them from this special once a year event. Despite our worry, Jimmy and I, along with Joey and 8 others, pedalled in the new year. Unless I get word they are safe and sound, I'll contact the authorities after the 24-hour waiting period.

I guess I am one of the M.I.A.s and thanks for the concern. Fortunately, I was not suffering from a hang over despite the generous hydration last night.

Actually, I thought the ride started at 5:30 this morning. When no one showed-up by 6:00, I left without you guys. I felt so good by 9:00 that I did an additional 20 miles, into the wind for good measure! I saw a few additional Fogbees during my ride (B.K. and M.P.), but they were riding too strong for me so I had to go solo the entire ride! :)

Actually, I started exactly at midnight Thursday night down on the Alabama border, rode through the night averaging a mild 25 mph pace back to the north side of nashville. I found Mike Poole around 4 in the morning riding his bike with his car tied to the back of it going up Mud Hollow so I decided to draft off him to the top. We decided when we got to White House we needed a challenge so we took off all our winter biking clothes and rode the rest of the ride in our shorts and gloves(jerseyless) along with that, we took off our tires and tubes so we could work on our sprinting prowess under unstable conditions. we rode past Miley, Joey and the group, but they were going so slow, I think they must have mistaken us for cars.

I was with you guys in spirit and not to be outdone I had to unload 44k lbs from the 53" Dollar General trailer after I towed it up Monteagle while maintaining a consistent cadence of 98rpms. On the downside I was able to aquire some road kill and added that to the back pack (Jim, what do you think?) The only challenging portion was when the Freightliner blew all 8 drive tires, probably overheated from the excessive speed! See you out there and remember I'm not allowed to pick up hitch hikers:)

I was still so drunk this morning that I couldn't tell you where the hell I was. After Bryan and I stripped down to our bibs and that icy wind hit me I kinda sobered up enough to blaze a trail and blow past ole Miley and Joey. I noticed some frozen snot cicles hanging off there faces as we zipped by.

Wow - That's enough BS to last all year. Glad I don't have to file that report.
