Saturday, June 11, 2011, Ride Start 7:00 a.m. – RAIN OR SHINE
The Harpeth Bicycle Club and Nissan present the 16th annual Harpeth River Ride. Long recognized as Middle Tennessee’s premier bicycling event, this year’s Harpeth River Ride builds on that tradition to bring a great day of cycling and camaraderie to riders of all skill levels.
5 Reasons You Don’t Want To Miss The Harpeth River Ride
1. Great Routes: Riding through the scenic landscape of Williamson County you’ll see why this is Middle Tennessee’s premier cycling event. This year we’ve got new routes that are well marked, on great road surfaces with low traffic. Whatever mileage and terrain you want, we’ve got it - choose between 100, 62, 44 and 20 mile routes.
2. Fabulous Rest Stops: The Harpeth River Ride is famous for its themed and bountiful rest stops and the tradition continues. You won’t go hungry or thirsty on our ride, we promise! Nor will you be without entertainment – no boring rest stops here.
3. Top-notch SAG: Enjoy your ride knowing that should something happen, we’ve got your back. Whether it’s a bike issue, medical emergency or you’re just plain tuckered out, a SAG team will be there when needed. And thanks to presenting sponsor Nissan®, we’ll be supporting the ride in snazzy Nissan vehicles.
4. Special Guest Riders: Members of Team RadioShack will be riding with us again this year and we’ve completely restaged the start so that all riders can participate in the opening ceremony. Again this year a group of adaptive athletes will also participate in the Harpeth River Ride.
5. A BIG Surprise: We’re really excited about the surprise but have to keep it a secret until ride day. We guarantee you don’t want to miss it so REGISTER NOW
. *Registration fee increases June 1.
We're looking forward to seeing you at the 16th annual Harpeth River Ride on Saturday, June 11th. Go to www.harpethriverride.com for event and registration information.
