OVERNIGHTERS

One of the unique activities of the FOGBEE Bike Club is the
OVERNIGHT and AWAY rides.

Non-riding significant others are invited to join in the festivities.
Like all FOGBEE activities there is no cost to participate.
You just pay your own way.

Below are some of the places we have gone
with links to our webpages.

Unfortunately, many of our pre-2008 pictures were saved
on Snapfish and lost when we moved to Shutterfly.
Also, videos made in ROXIO Photoshow have been lost

The FALL EXCURSION to Red Boiling Springs
was our first over-nighter and remains everyone's favorite.
Initially we stayed at the Donoho, but we have received

such warm accommodations at the Armour House
that it has become our regular destination.

Across the river from St. Louis are over a hundred miles of FLAT bicycle trails. It was our first "away" trip and we have done it twice.  We have got LOTS of pictures.

Little Miami Trail

The Little Miami Trail is the premiere Rails-to-Trail conversion in middle America, running about 100 miles from Dayton to Cincinnati.

We thought Tennessee had the hills,
but southern Indiana had it beat with some tough climbs.
We stayed in the hotel with its casino.

We stayed in Atlanta in 2012 and were ferried
over to the start of the trail on the Alabama border.

Montgomery Bell State Park
Webpage: http://fogbees.blogspot.com/p/montgomery-bell-sp.html
The overnighter to Montgomery Bell SP was one of
our first Spring Rides. We've done this ride a couple of times
and significant others meet and spend the night with the bicyclists
in the park hotel.

In 2008, we rode from Smithville to Monterey and planned to loop
back through Cookeville, but it really got cold, We got rained on
and snowed on and we quit in Cookeville.
Wives joined us at a B&B in Monterey.

The 3-Day Tour starts in Hville, goes to Henry Horton SP,
then to Cedars of Lebanon SP, and returns to Hville.
One of the first multi-day tours of the FOGBEES, we have done it about three times. Wives typically meet up with the group in the
Cedars of Lebanon, but don't stay overnight.

Scottsboro
In 2011, David Irvine attends the Annual Scottish Festival in Scottsboro AL, and drags along a couple of FOGBEES.

Cullman AL
This 3-day ride went from Nashville to Cullman AL in 2012
On our way we stopped for lunch in a small diner and made the
