RadCityStep-Thur Electric Commuter Bike Version 3
Gary Williams purchased this bike New in April 2020 and was ridden less than 7 hours before his passing. See 4SALE PAGE on Fogbee eBike Blog.On our ride today, Mark had his future Specialized VADO 5.0 SLEQ. Both Phil and I had ordered one and were interested in a trial run. My experience with Mark's new ride was both positive and negative when comparing to my road bike. I suspect the negative aspects that I noted would evaporate with experience. Check out the FOGBEE eBike blog for the rest of the story.

The bike Nerds are at it again. This time discussing best selection of tire width's and tire pressure. I thought others would be interested in what they have to say.
Of course we know no REAL bicyclist rides on 23mm tires any more. Few ride even on 25mm. The preferred width is 28mm and larger. Learn more here

So what do the local experts say?

If you haven’t seen it, check it out (Prime Video). Five Aussies ride from Oklahoma to Bakersfield retracing the trip in Grapes of Wrath.
Its that time of year when the sun sets earlier and earlier. We are suspending the Tuesday night rides and will restart in the early spring.
We will be doing FOGBEE spin at the Y and Dave Miley will be posting Saturday rides.
See you on the road,
Mike
This Saturday, as Jack and Back has been canceled, it is being replaced by The Farm Out and Back Ride. You guessed it, we will ride from The Farm at 8:00. Dave Miley will be planning the route.
After the ride, we will have a tailgate party. Bill Barton is bringing up one of his trailers so that we can watch some college football. Fire pits will be blazing.
Party time will be 12:00. So, bring your favorite adult beverage, cigars and a side dish (Post what side you will bring) and hangout for a fun afternoon.
Watch for routes later this week.
Your race directors and party planners,
Mike, Sherry, Dave, Janice, Lindsay, Bill
I am sorry to announce that the RBS ride and weekend in Red Boiling Springs has been cancelled for 2020. We will have something planned from "The Farm" to celebrate Sherry's birthday, stay tuned, who knows we may pull a rabbit out of the hat and make it a weekend event yet.
Thank you for you patience as this has been a very trying year for us all, I am sadden that this Fogbee tradition has to be postponed on my watch, but as stated above maybe we can still make a memorial weekend.
