FOGBEE Weekend Trip to Chattanooga by popular request the weekend of June 15-17.

No expectation for this weekend other than do what you may want. No one is expected to do what the "gang" may be doing.  Feel free to venture on your own around the city.  There is plenty to do.

Sherry will provide transportation to whatever y'all decide to do.

I have two Large Garneau jerseys that no longer fit me. I bought them when I started riding with the FOGBees and surprise, surprise I have lost weight. They are large size mens jerseys and are both in excellent condition. I hate to just have them hanging in the closet so if anyone is interested in them let me know. Pub Crawl

Nashville has 25 beer breweries.  We have put together a bike tour of 9 on the North side.  We toured them during the week when they were not yet open, just to check out they logistics.                          Here is a link to that tour.

Anybody interested in doing this tour when we can sample the products?  

There is also a rumor the the FOGBEE-East group is putting together a similar tour for Chattanooga.  Will share when we receive the details.
 

FOGBEE fun at the Cycle Bar in the Gulch

20 Fogbees showed up for spin at the Cycle Bar in the Gulch with Erin our instructor who worked us very hard.  All had a good time a The Pub following the spin.

Mike and Tracie Short are hosting us for a special spin class at the Cycle Bar in the Gulch on Saturday, 2/17/18.  The spin class will be at 1:30.  (As a note, they are opening up a Cycle Bar in Hendersonville.  This will give you a chance to check it out in advance.)

Following the spin class, we will have our post spin social hour at the The Pub in the Gulch and have a fun afternoon.

Gene Dorris the father of Lucy Williams and Gary's Williams father in law passed away early Sunday morning November 26th.
Visitation and Funeral will be held at the Woodard Funeral Home 5591 US-31E, Westmoreland, TN. Visitation Tuesday Nov 28th 5:00PM - 9:00PM and Wednesday Nov 29th 10:00AM - 2:00PM with the funeral starting at 2:00PM.

Please keep Lucy and Gray in your thoughts and prayers.

Another great tailgate and turnout with the FOGBEES. Special thanks to Janice Camplin for the use of her home (and the warm showers after a chilly wet ride). At this point, the ride is still on for this weekend.  The ride will start at 8:30AM.  Very little rain is expected and it will be fairly warm with mild winds.

It will take place at my mother-in-law Janice's house again this year.  Her address is 923 Tyree Springs Road in White House, TN.

The 10th season of the FOGBEE YMCA SPIN!

Forgot to post this on our blog but I've text message most of the regular spinners. Our 10th year of spinning begins tonight at 6:20 at the Hendersonville YMCA. Spin is on Tuesday and Thursday at 6:20 p.m. and at 10 a.m. on Saturday if the weather does not permit an outside ride. Hard to believe it's been 10 years. Hopefully this will answer some questions and I need some information back as there a few loose ends that need to be tied up. Let me know if I have missed anything or haven't answered a question.

Red Boiling Springs Weekend Update

We're about 10 days from our annual get away ride to Red Boiling Springs. If you haven't gotten a room there are still rooms at the Donoho Motel, with this ride later in the year fall foliage should be spectacular and I would hate for anyone to miss this event. 3 Day RBS Ride

Anyone interested in doing a 3 day ride to RBS? We can use the same Friday route as last year. If the weather cooperates it should be a sight to see with the changing of the leaves. The fall temps should be nice as well...

Mike and Sherry's Crystal Creek Bed Ride Suspended Till Next Year

Due to the sun setting earlier and earlier, Mike and Sherry's Crystal Creek Bed Ride is suspended until DST next spring.

We have enjoyed hosting y'all and look forward to it again next year. 

Next year we will have a new after ride place for social hour-Prince Street Pizza is opening up a new place just south of White House.  Something to look forward to.

UPDATE to the UPDATE to the UPDATE: I apologize but I had my wires crossed and gave out bad information..... The DONOHO HOTEL HAS plenty of rooms, 28 actually and will gladly welcome anyone that wants to stay there. Call John at 615-699-3141..sorry for the miscommunication. 

Bike Injury

Yesterday, David Shumaker was seriously hurt in a bike accident.  He is in Hendersonville hostpital and is expected to be released today.  Dave lost consciousness for a short period of time and has suffered a broken rib.  The accident was with another bicyclist.  He will be recovering at home but is likely off the bicycle for the rest of 2017.

New pizza place opening in White House

I saw the item below on FB and since the Fogbees visit the one in Gallatin often I thought this might be of interest to us. Having another choice in White House can't be a bad thing. Opens this winter but perhaps a good gathering place for Saturday rides when weather allows.

Hey White House! Just wanted to let everyone know that myself and Spencer, owners of Prince Street Pizza and Pub are moving forward with our location in White House at 2404 Hwy 31W!! We have been back and forth with the name of the place. To stick with the street theme I thought "31 W Pizza and Pub" but we thought that made it sound kinda more like a bar, so as of now it is "White House Pizza and Pub". It will be the same logo just imagine Prince Street being replaces and the street signs changing. Lets hear your thoughts!

P.S.  As of now we are shooting for a December opening. If you know someone interested in a job please tell them to come fill out an application at Prince Street Pizza in Gallatin.
